Whole Child Approach to School Issues: A Panel Discussion
Is your child struggling to stay afloat in school? Do their poor grades or short attention span leave you worried about a larger issue? Do "labels" such as ADHD, LD, BD, and the like leave your head spinning? Listen to perspectives from pediatricians to psychiatrists, nutritionists to yogis, chiropractors to acupuncturists, and educational specialists as you learn how to approach your child’s issue from respected professionals in each field. The first hour will be spent with panel members speaking of their profession and diagnosing a typical case study; followed by break-out sessions where you can ask questions of each speaker individually. This is a free lecture, dedicated to enhancing parent’s understanding of school and behavioral problems, giving them the tools to make confident and informed decisions about their child’s health. Registration is encouraged as space is limited.
